Young saharawi burned by Moroccan police in the Aaiun

CITY OF “EL AAIÚN”

Last night the Moroccan authorities of occupation detained a young saharawi citizen, Esidi Salek Uld Moulud, who happened to attend the celebration of a wedding in the city of El Aaiun. He was then transferred to a police station belonging to the judiciary police, where he was interrogated and tortured by four agents. Later they spilled gasoline over his body and they set him on fire, which caused severe burns all over his body. He was then transferred by the same agents of the GUS and led by the bloodthirsty Pasha of El Aaiun Mustafa Bu Azza to the Mustafa Hassan Ben El Mehdi hospital. At about one o´clock he was transferred by airplane to a hospital in Morocco due to the critical state he was in. Sources in El Aaiun, indicate that he could be in the hospital of Agadir.

The young saharawi, Esidi Salek Uld Moulud was attending the celebration of a wedding in the Tiris Hall, where saharawi flags were waved. The occupation administration ordered police units to surround the place and the proceeded to the detention of several saharawis, among them, the political ex-prisoner Toubali El Hafed and Abdalah Abba, the burnt Esidi Salek Uld Moulud and others that are still under “interrogation”, according to the same sources of information.
