Dear Erik, I write this to you in spite of the pain.
Many bloody events are happening in the Moroccan universities. Hundreds of victims and many arrested, we are always attacked at time of exams, mainly in the final examinations.
In Agadir:
From
Wednesday 2 of May to now horrifying things have happened. The Sahrawi students
furiously were attacked by Moroccan students called the “Amazigh”,
who were cheered by the Moroccan government; they were armed with iron clubs
and left hundreds of Saharauis wounded. Some of them were taken to the hospital.
In who occasions the Moroccan forces entered into the district of the University
where the students live twice saharauis during the nights of the 2 and 3
of May, torturing wildly and arresting more than 30 saharauis. They took
to 5 saharauis to prison. The names of the tortured ones are Erradi Mohamed,
Errabeh Otman, Mohamed Salem Elmehdi, Mohemed salem Chrif, Chtouki Abdslam,
Musa Erradi, Lwafi Rrahel, Breika Haboub, Said Ba Haddi, Mansour Lefkir,
to bachir Lismaili, Khaled Rgaibi, Eloud husain, Said Laabidi, Ali Laaguig,
Hadad Mehdi, Mrisli Husein, Chuiaar Mohamed, Chain Amhed, Lfilali Mahmud,
Lemberki Salek, Lfilali Sidahmed, Mulay Zain, Maatalla Lefnain, AbdAllah
Edaruich. The 5 arrested are Mraisli Husein, Chain Amhed, Chuiaar Mohamed,
Lfilali Mahmud, the Geddari. Two in extreme situation: Lakhal Mohamed Fadel
and Moulud Lembarki.
In Marrakech:
We began a hunger strike in answer to what happened in Agadir.
We made peaceful strikes in protest against the Moroccan government, which
were responded with savage and violent attacks. On the 9 of May Moroccan
forces burst into the district of the university during a strike. Some escaped
but those who faced the Moroccans were wildly tortured until the point of
which the student Seltana Khaya, for example, lost his eye and another student,
Sumaya Abdeddayem was stabbed in the belly. They broke Abdati legs. I was
struck with a club in sensible zones and a stone in the head. The police
also tortured students in the ambulance itself on the way to the hospital.
Abdati was taken to the police station directly, where again it was tortured
and thrown to a cell without no medical attention.
They did not cure us, they simply tortured us. When Seltana requested to
its twig that stopped, that could not support the immense pain in its uprooted
eye, it struck it in the other eye and he threatened us to burn us alive.
We arrived at the hospital in a terrible state, surrounded by police forces, they pulled us from our hair, spitted us, they insulted us and they slapped to us. The doctor limited itself to auscultate to us superficially to verify if we had something broken and bandaged the eye of Sultana. Then the three police put us to a car, where they abused us sexually and they tortured to us psychologically.
We
arrived at the police station in Jamea Lefna, where they interrogated to
us, in spite of our horrible situation, in special the one of Seltana, whose
eye did not let bleed. I supliqué that took to them to Seltana to
the hospital, she bled between my hands and moaned of pain. They nor perturbed.
Then, after hours of suffering, they came to take it to the hospital, but
in fact they raptaron it. The police called to us of one in one to interrogate
to us but they limited themselves to humiliate to us. They did not ask anything
to us excellent, they insulted to us and they escupieron. Finally they put
a number to us and they did photos, saying “jódete”.
Hardly we could be moved. They released the 10 to us of May. The police followed us to know where we lived. Our houses became military large cabins.
Seltana was tortured again in the ambulance by he himself twig and later they threw it in an empty room of desolate a hospital. They forced it to sign hundreds of papers under pressure. It had a terrible operation… lost his eye for always. The police watches it continuously.
The Moroccan forces tortured to hundreds of Sahrawi students when they burst in into the district of the university, abused some students sexually and they arrested to many saharauis. Most of them they were released after being tortured and 6 of them were arrested. The names are Rachid Bennou, Dah Mbeirik, Aziz Ait Yousef, Fattah Aydasya, Mahmud Lenkitni and a Moroccan student whose name I do not know.
The 11 of May Saharauis students they were pronounced and they protested reason why they had done to us. They were hardly 20 students against thousands of Moroccan forces that surrounded to them.
In Casablanca:
Events seemed for the same reasons.
The 11 of May pronounced Sahrawi students in support to us. In the evening, the Moroccan forces surrounded the district by the University, while armed Moroccan racist students burst in into the quarters of the Sahrawi students and they struck to them, destroying it and robbing it everything. They dispersed to the Saharauis students and 7 of them are malheridos in the hospital. The name of 3 of them is Swelam Lerzal, that were burned alive, Cherkawi Yusef, that hard was struck in the head, arms and legs, and Baiban Mohamed Ali. Omar Sayeh was hurt with a knife, the police tortured to him during the passage in ambulance and was thrown in a cell without medical treatment.
In Rabat:
They continue the protests of Sahrawi students.
There are lost our studies, have passed the examinations and most of us
there are lost our documentation, we do not have therefore possibility of
marching to us… And Seltana is lost its eye.
This is the continuous policy of Morocco with the Saharauis students at time of examinations, so that we do not study, we do not form, ignoring its rights and responsibilities.
Please, help us… things are getting worse every time.
